What I’m watching
I recently started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender on Netflix and am enjoying it. Discussing live action remakes, I believe they appeal to those who don't watch cartoons. Remakes can enhance storytelling and offer a fresh perspective. However, the live action adaptation of ATLA lacks the delightful nonsense present in the original.
What I’m watching
"The Fall of the House of Usher," a modernized take on Edgar Allan Poe's work, incorporates crime family drama. Despite the lack of requirement for prior knowledge of Poe's work, subtle nods to his texts enhance the experience. The show, featuring unsympathetic characters facing comeuppance, may appeal to those interested in a blend of horror and crime drama.
